Learning Challenges....

Each grade level is assigned a challenge for the year. Every student in the class has the opportunity to meet the challenge each month until the end of the year. When they demonstrate that they have learned the challenge, they are awarded a t-shirt!

The challenge is not necessarily taught in class, but is often a skill or knowledge the students work on at home. Students have to decide that they are willing to take the challenge, and work towards success. Our goal is to choose a challenge that will be useful for a long time, such as tying your shoe or learning the multiplication table. At the end of the year, we will have a big celebration with all the students who have met the challenge during the year. We hope that everyone in Walters Hall will celebrate with us!
