The Schutz Grade 4-6 Science Fair was held Thursday May 28, 2009 from 12:30-2:45 p.m.
A Science Fair offers children experiences in exploring ideas beyond the classroom in order to understand more about their world. The students practiced scientific thinking and creative problem solving while delving into a scientific investigation of their own. Many of them chose topics that they were already passionate while other students discovered new interests along the way. They strengthen their math skills through analyzing and graphing of data. They improved their reading comprehension skills by doing complicated research. They sharpened their communication skills while presenting to our tough panel of judges. Most importantly, our students had fun learning about Science!
