Junior Varsity Academic Games
The Junior Varsity Academic Games was held at Schutz American School March 5th through March 7th. The students who represented Schutz American School were: Nada Zaher, Hoda El Dib, Farah Mokhtar, Farida Sabry, Antarah Leet, Jared Bruner, Malek Kassem, Priyanka Ray, and alternates: Sarah Temraz and Adam Abo-Gad. The Junior Varsity Academic Coaches are: Debbie Bacon and Ji Yung Foof.
Varsity Academic Games
The Varsity Academic Games were held at AISK-Kuwait April 15th through April 19th. The students who represented Schutz American School are: Nada Abou-Gad, Arnab Chaudhuri, Shereen El Khazendar, and Mostafa Barakat, The Varsity Academic Coaches are: Kelly Sullivan and Jean Melek.
They practiced twice a week since the beginning of February and played an exhibition round against a teacher team prior to Spring Break, as their tournament was during Spring Break. The team played well, and returned to Schutz with first place in the Mathematics Olympiad.
