The Schutz student leaders, Nada Abou Gad, Mostafa Barakat, Arnab Chaudhuri, Khaled El Naggar, Heba El Sahn, Malak Kira, Rana Ragab, and Ankita Ray attended the EMAC Leadership Conference in Cairo American College (September 26-27), along with their advisor, Kelly Sullivan. The students were selected from the High School Student Council and Schutz Honor Society.
 
Leaders from schools from all around the Middle East also attended this conference.The main activity in the conference was project adventure. Throughout the trip, the delegates did various activities that improved their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. A guest speaker, Mr. Youssef Botros Ghaly, the Minister of Finance, delivered a wonderful speech and answered many questions.

Kelly Sullivan thought that the large group activities were very beneficial to the students. She stated, "It was very fun watching the young leaders support each other."
