Meloy Hall

The Upper School consists of grades 7 through 12. Classrooms are located in Meloy Hall, above Lorimor Auditorium, an art studio and two foreign language classrooms. The Upper School area also contains a library, computer lab, science laboratories, upper school administrative offices, two athletic courts, a swimming pool, a canteen and some living quarters for staff.    Meloy Hall was named in 1991 after George Meloy, who acted as headmaster of the school from 1956 to 1990.

The curriculum of Schutz American School is designed to prepare students to enter United States universities as well as to provide a good educational program for students who choose not to continue their academic work after graduation.

The school year consists of two semesters. Full year courses earn 1 credit towards graduation and semester courses earn .5 credit.
