Salaam Alaikum and welcome to an expats life in Egypt. The beauty of the Nile, the history of the magnificent pyramids and mesmerizing belly dancers are perhaps the first things that come to mind when considering Egypt — and while these are wonderful things worth seeing, some of the modern realities of living in Egypt may surprise you. Unspoiled coastlines just a couple of hours away make every weekend a summer vacation, while opulent malls in Cairo means you never have to give up your favorite stores. From Egypt you can be in Europe in just a few hours or you could explore central Africa on a safari to see the Big 5 or the gorillas of Uganda. Egypt is rated one of the safest countries for expats in the world. Egypt has so much to offer the greatest part is it’s people. Egyptians represent the very best of the Middle East and North African culture. A true belief in “hospitality” that dates back thousands of years. Expats are truly treated like special guest.
Egypt is a dynamic, safe, and exciting country to live and work in. One of the most popular tourism destinations in the world, residents of Egypt can explore ancient civilizations, dive in the best locations in the Red Sea, relax at a luxury seaside resort on the Mediterranean. Alexandria offers many beach side restaurants, a fabulous Cornish boardwalk, and some of the most welcoming people in all the Middle East. Life at Schutz and Alexandria has many benefits and also comes with its own set of challenges.
